Bywater Woodworks is a state licensed building construction company specializing in the restoration of old homes. While handling all phases of building construction, Bywater Woodworks specializes in the fabrication and replication of architectural mill work, including doors, windows, and molding. We typically function as general contractor on our jobs.
The company has been working in New Orleans since 1980 and has worked on numerous historic designated buildings.
Bywater Woodworks project have been the recipient of Renovation awards from the Vieux Carre Commission, The Historic District Landmarks Commission, and The Louisiana Landmarks Society. Our work has been featured in several New Orleans publications and on National Television.
We do a mix of residential and commercial work.
